Infineon Technologies AG has recently introduced the new PSOC™ 4100T Plus microcontroller (MCU), based on the Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core. With advanced sensing technology and low-power design, this MCU provides innovative solutions for smart appliances, consumer electronics, and IoT devices.
Integrated Multifunctional Sensing Technology
The PSOC™ 4100T Plus is equipped with fifth-generation CAPSENSE™ technology, supporting capacitive, inductive, and liquid-level sensing. It enables functions such as touch control, liquid level monitoring, and hover detection. Enhanced noise immunity combined with machine learning algorithms ensures accurate performance even in complex environments, making it ideal for smart appliances, touch screens, and industrial devices.
High Performance Meets Low Power
The MCU features a 48MHz processor, 128KB flash, and 32KB SRAM, and supports multiple communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and UART. Its wide operating voltage range (1.71V–5.5V) and ultra-low power consumption of 8µA in deep sleep mode meet the long battery life requirements of IoT devices.

With high reliability (6.5kV HBM ESD protection) and support from ModusToolbox™, the PSOC™ 4100T Plus simplifies the development process. Whether in white goods, touch panels, or IoT nodes, this MCU delivers a flexible single-chip solution.
